Dr. Jordan Friedman received his Honours Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from the University of Western Ontario in 2011. He then went on to attain his Doctor of Optometry along with a second B.Sc in Vision Science/Physiological Optics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2016.
While living in Florida, he was an active member of the community and was privileged to provide eye exams for athletes competing in the Special Olympics and underserved communities. During his extern training at the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute, he became well versed in the treatment and management of retinal and anterior segment diseases, training alongside retinal, corneal and oculoplastic surgeons.
Dr. Friedman, as well, trained with Cataract and Glaucoma surgeons in Boca Raton, giving him the skills needed to co-manage pre-op and post-op procedures. He is a member of the College of Optometrist of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists, firmly believing in the advancement of the profession.
With a special interest in Dry Eye Disease, Dr. Friedman is dedicated to lifelong learning and being at the forefront of new advancements in technology and treatment paradigms. It is this same dedication that he also brings into the exam room, making Dr. Friedman a truly compassionate doctor.
During his free time, Dr. Friedman enjoys cooking, playing guitar and staying physically active.
